Support from Government Ministries

On March 25, 2010, BEHC had meetings with the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Social Welfare, and the Department of Community Development.  The Ministry of Health was impressed by the project and affirmed that they could provide material assistance once an official letter of request is presented to the director.  The Department of Community Development pledged to recruit volunteers and educators from their Western Region location. Positive progress is being made with the Ghana Government and we are ecstatic about their future support!
